This event venue is in a very sketchy area of Surrey. Walking to the venue noticed several homeless people who are using the streets as urinals, as it smelled very strongly of urine. Did not feel safe in this area and will avoid all future events held there.

A nice outdoor venue on sunny days. The wind seems to blow through the plaza quite strong on windy days.

As for a place to live, surrey is the best place to live so far. But to our delivery driver community, surrey is the worst to drive courier. Zero tips to non tip customer. Come on our living wage is so badly reduced after covid. People please tip us more.

My wife and I begin most days with a ride to Civic Plaza. It's not fancy but in many ways it's the best place on Earth. Just a good, low stress place to spend time. There's a Tim's in the SkyTrain and a nice restaurant in the hotel. Pick how fancy you want to get.

Latin Festival 2022 at the Surrey Civic Plaza. Nice area to set up tents, a stage, and plenty of parking within a block. I highly recommend next year's event, too. This year it was well planned with much great food.

Very nice plaza to host any outdoor events. I visited it recently for the BC Halal Food Fest. There was a lot of stalls and people attending the event. Parking was also easy. You can utilize the street parking or park in the underground parking P1 which is open to the public.
